QUILTING MAKES MY HEART HAPPY


Quilting is my love language. There’s something special about the ability to embrace a process that is so slow in a world that is so fast.


Creating quilts allows me to be closer to the people around me. Handmade quilts are an excuse to go an an unrealistic amount of picnics in the park, or to share a blanket with your mom during movie night, or to get a picture of your niece every night reading bed time stories under the quilt you made her.


I have spent long afternoons cutting, sewing and constructing quilts for those I love in my life. Gifting them a physical and personal present that requires so much labor is how I show my loved ones how I care for them.
